INTRAMUROS, the priceless heritage of Manila City..

                                             

Intramuros is the popular name given to the walled city of Manila.
The construction of the stone wall begun in 1591-94 and the restoration of the place is still going on as of this blogging. Intramuros is a priceless heritage and a special district within the city of Manila.

Pamantasan ng Lungsod  ng Maynila (PLM)  or  University of Manila  is the building right after the main gate.                          

The Church of  San Agustine is the oldest stone church in the Philippines , the Mother of all  Philippine Churches and a Heritage Site proclaimed by UNESCO in 1993.

Kalesa is a two-wheeled horse-drawn vehicle in the Philippines. It is  the cheapest  utility vehicle that will bring you to all the places in Intramuros and other parks in Manila.
